Gary Flatt
Partner
Gary joined Lovewell Blake in 1991 and went on to qualify as a Chartered Certified Accountant. Gary originally worked in the business services team before moving to corporate services in 1995. Gary provides accounting, audit and taxation advice to a wide range of clients.
In April 2015 Gary became a partner and plays an active role in developing the business. Gary is also responsible for Lovewell Blake’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and heads up the LB150 fund, which to date has raised over £250,000 for local groups and organisations.
Gary is a keen sportsman and enjoys golf and badminton. He is a member of the Rookery Park Golf Club in Carlton Colville where for a number of years he has carried out the Finance Director role.

What’s your favourite thing about Breakaway?
The relaxed atmosphere. Whilst we are there to conduct and generate business, the relaxed atmosphere creates, what I feel, is a very friendly place to network.
Why did you choose Breakaway?
As a founder member of Breakaway East, I was happy to be involved from the outset as this gives you an opportunity to set the trend as to how the group interacts and work together. It was also an opportunity to try and ensure bad experiences at other networking groups are not repeated.

The LB150 Fund
In 2008 Lovewell Blake launched the LB150 fund. Set up to celebrate their 150th anniversary, the staff and partners for the next 4 years worked hard to fundraise for local groups and organisations and raised over £150,000. The fund is still going strong today and in 2018 went over the £250,000 barrier.
Each year a staff led panel chose the causes who will benefit. Local groups and organisations have the opportunity to apply through the Norfolk Community Foundation who administer the fund.
Fundraising has included dress day down days, cycling challenges, bowling nights, quizzes, golf days, walks, black tie balls and the 3 peak challenge!
